Dr. Minze is a CBT Dallas therapist and an Assessment Specialist, working collaboratively with psychologists at Dallas CBT and in the community to help answer diagnostic questions and determine appropriate treatment plans. Her therapy expertise is working with children and adolescents with anxiety, OCD, depression, behavioral and attention problems, and trauma. Her therapeutic approach involves CBTs, including exposure therapy, and parent coaching when helpful. Dr. Minze treats:

Dr. Minze received the Mom Approved award with DFW Child, highlighting her years of effective therapy and comprehensive assessments aimed to help clients succeed wherever they might be in their education or career paths. Dr. Minze earned her master’s and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from Southern Methodist University. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in educational psychology from Baylor University. She worked as a therapist and director of children’s outreach at the Family Place in Dallas prior to beginning her doctoral studies.
During her doctoral clinical training, Dr. Minze focused on psychological assessment, treatment of child anxiety, depression, behavioral problems in children, posttraumatic stress in adults, and working with children exposed to domestic violence and child abuse. Her research focused on factors influencing child adjustment after exposure to domestic violence. Prior to working with Dallas CBT, Dr. Minze worked in SMU’s Psychology Clinic, providing assessments and training and supervising graduate students in their clinical work. Dr. Minze is an adjunct faculty at SMU, teaching Developmental Psychology and the Psychology of Aging.
